We Need Your Support
The Rachel Carson Homestead Association is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) and 509 (a)(1) charitable organization that relies on individuals, corporations, and foundations to provide the financial support needed to carry out our mission. We are not supported by or connected with any other nonprofit organization.

Since our inception in 1975, we have preserved this site as an interpretive tool to teach about Rachel Carson's childhood and young adulthood in southwestern Pennsylvania, her role as one of the most important activists in history, and how we can integrate her environmental ethic into our own lives.

Through the World Wide Web, we are serving a worldwide audience of students, teachers, and others seeking information about Rachel Carson.

We invite you to show your commitment to Rachel Carson's legacy by lending your generous support to our important work. Your contribution of any amount is appreciated. To help you determine an amount that is appropriate for you, we have established an Individual and Family Membership Program and a Corporate Membership Program. Each features a range of giving levels that allow you to find a comfortable level for you, and receive a variety benefits corresponding with your donation.
